2024年2月チリの森林火災により犠牲となられた方々に深く哀悼の意を表するとともに、被災された皆様、また、ご家族・関係者の皆様に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。また、被災者の救済と被災地の復興支援のためにご尽力されている方々に深く敬意を表します。
さて、チリのマイクロマウス大会を開催している関係者も被災したとのことで、関係者と連絡をとったところ、本人たちは無事だとのことですが、現地は混乱しているそうです。そのような中、事務局の来日はかなわないとのことですが、トレースのチャンピオンは全日本マイクロマウス大会に参加してくださるそうです。
被災地域の皆様の安全と、一日も早い復興をお祈り申し上げます。

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims of the February 2024 Chilean wildfires and our deepest sympathies to all those who have been affected by the fires, as well as to their families and other concerned parties. I would also like to express my deepest respect to those who are working hard to help the victims and to support the recovery of the affected areas.
Now, we have heard that the people involved in organizing the Micromouse Congress in Chile were also affected by the disaster. We have been in contact with the people involved, and they have assured me that they themselves are safe and sound, but the situation there is in turmoil. We have been informed that the secretariat will not be able to come to Japan, but the champion of the Robotrace in Chile will participate in the All-Japan Micromouse Tournament.
We pray for the safety of everyone in the affected areas and the earliest possible recovery.
